Terms of Use
Effective date: August 6, 2026
Mongee is operated by Gil Ho, trading as Mongee (ABN 33 652 965 301), Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
These Terms of Use explain the rules for using Mongee's website, mobile apps, and related services. Please read them before using Mongee.
Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using Mongee, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Mongee.
The Mongee service and changes to it
Mongee helps you save and organise screenshots, links, and other reference items. Features may vary by platform, region, plan, device, or configuration.
We may change, add, suspend, or remove parts of Mongee when reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, secure, or comply with legal requirements for the service. We will not make changes that remove mandatory rights you have under applicable law.
Account responsibilities and security
Mongee does not require a traditional account to use its core features. If you use a store account, purchase, support channel, or other service connected to Mongee, you are responsible for keeping the relevant device and account credentials secure and for activity taken through them.
Contact us promptly if you believe there has been unauthorised use connected to Mongee or a support interaction.
Acceptable use
You must use Mongee lawfully and in a way that does not harm the service, other people, or their rights. You must not:
- use Mongee to break the law or infringe another person's rights;
- interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to bypass security or access controls;
- use automated means to access Mongee except where we have clearly permitted them; or
- use Mongee to introduce malware, spam, or other harmful material.
User content and saved material
You are responsible for the screenshots, photos, links, notes, and other material you choose to save. You must have the rights, permissions, or other lawful basis needed to save, process, and use that material through Mongee.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of your saved material to Mongee.
AI-assisted organisation and third-party processing
Some features use AI and service partners to help categorise, organise, extract information from, or enrich saved content. The specific information involved and when it may leave your device are explained in the Privacy Policy.
Optional reminders
Reminders are optional. A reminder may not be delivered at the exact time you request because delivery can depend on your device, settings, operating system, network conditions, and other factors outside Mongee's control.
You remain responsible for important dates, deadlines, payments, appointments, and other time-sensitive matters. Do not rely on Mongee reminders as your only reminder or notice.
Subscriptions and billing
Mongee may offer free and paid plans. If you purchase a paid plan through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store handles the purchase, payment, renewal, cancellation, and refund process under its own rules.
Subscription availability, prices, free trials, and plan features may vary by store, platform, region, or promotion. We do not promise refunds beyond the applicable store's policy or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Intellectual property and feedback
Mongee and its branding, software, website, and other service materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except where these Terms or applicable law allow it, you must not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or otherwise use them without permission.
If you send feedback or suggestions about Mongee, you allow us to use them to improve the service without compensation or obligation to you.
Availability, disclaimers, and limitation of liability
We aim to provide a reliable service, but Mongee may be unavailable, interrupted, delayed, or contain errors. Mongee is provided for general information and organisation purposes and is not medical, legal, financial, professional, or deadline-management advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that Mongee will always be available, accurate, secure, timely, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mongee and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss arising from your use of Mongee. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the extent permitted by law.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Mongee at any time. We may suspend or end access to Mongee where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, rights holders, or legal compliance, including if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date. Where required by law, or where a change is material, we will provide additional notice through an appropriate channel.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how Mongee handles information and forms part of your use of the service.
Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If you have a concern, please contact contact@mongee.app first. We will try to resolve concerns in good faith and ask that both parties allow 30 days for informal resolution.
If a concern remains unresolved after that period, either party may bring proceedings in the courts of New South Wales, Australia, subject to any mandatory consumer or other legal rights that apply to you.
